Place-Based Gaming and Learning

In an effort to make field trips simultaneously more fun, more memorable, and more educational for students, the Minnesota Historical Society is developing a major exhibit hand-in-hand with an interactive, mobile device-supported experience.

To that end, MHS is working on prototyping with the ARIS system—in partnership with members of the Games+Learning+Society group at UW Madison.

And MHS plans to take what it learns and apply it more broadly—to other exhibits and historic sites.
